Eligibility & Participation

1. The competition is open to students currently studying in Class 1 to Class 12 in recognized schools across India. 2. Participants must complete the online registration process through the official Genius Hunt website before the registration deadline. 3. Each participant must provide accurate personal, academic, and contact information during registration. 4. Multiple students may register using the same mobile number, provided each student has a unique identifier such as school ID, enrollment number, or email address. 5. Participation in the competition is subject to successful registration and payment of the applicable participation fee. 6. By registering, participants and/or their parents/guardians agree to abide by all rules and regulations of the competition.

Registration Rules

1. Registrations will be accepted only through the official Genius Hunt registration portal. 2. Schools may register students through individual registrations or bulk/school registrations. 3. Participants must ensure that all information provided during registration is correct and verifiable. 4. The organizing committee reserves the right to verify participant details and reject or cancel registrations containing incorrect information. 5. Once the registration process is completed, changes to key details may not be permitted after the examination schedule is announced.

Examination Rules

1. The Genius Hunt examination will be conducted as an online aptitude assessment. 2. Questions will be designed to evaluate logical reasoning, analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and cognitive aptitude. 3. The question bank will follow a structured hierarchy based on student grade, subject category, and difficulty level. 4. Participants will be grouped into grade-based categories to ensure fair competition. 5. Each participant must complete the test within the specified time limit for their category. 6. The examination must be attempted only through the official Genius Hunt exam platform using registered login credentials.

Scoring & Evaluation

1. The test will consist primarily of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). 2. Each correct answer will carry predefined marks as per the exam structure. 3. Unless otherwise specified, no negative marking will be applied. 4. Rankings will be calculated based on total score, response accuracy, and applicable tie-breaking criteria. 5. Each participant will receive a digital performance report containing score, percentile ranking, and performance insights.

Awards & Recognition

1. Top-performing students will be recognized at national, state, and/or city levels based on their performance. 2. Winners may receive cash prizes, educational gadgets, scholarships, certificates, or other rewards, as announced by the organizers. 3. All participants will receive a digital participation certificate. 4. Prize distribution details and timelines will be announced through the official Genius Hunt platform or communication channels.

Code of Conduct

Participants must adhere to the following rules during the competition: 1. The examination must be attempted independently without external assistance. 2. Any attempt to impersonate another participant, use unfair means, or manipulate the exam system will result in disqualification. 3. Participants must follow all instructions provided during the examination process. 4. The organizing team reserves the right to monitor activity during the test to maintain exam integrity.

Technical Guidelines

1. Participants must ensure stable internet connectivity and access to a compatible device before starting the exam. 2. The test may be attempted using desktop computers, laptops, tablets, or smartphones with updated web browsers. 3. Participants are advised to log in at least 10–15 minutes before the scheduled exam time. 4. The system may auto-save responses where applicable; however, the organizers are not responsible for issues caused by device malfunction, connectivity failure, or user error. 5. Participants should avoid refreshing the browser, closing the exam window, or navigating away from the exam page during the test.

Data Privacy & Use of Information

1. By registering for Genius Hunt, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information for event management, communication, and result processing. 2. Participant data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection practices. 3. The organizers may use aggregated or anonymized data for reporting, analytics, and event improvement purposes.

Organizer Rights & Decision Authority

1. The organizers reserve the right to modify the exam schedule, rules, prize structure, or event format if necessary. 2. In case of any dispute related to participation, scoring, results, or eligibility, the decision of the organizing committee shall be final and binding. 3. The organizers may disqualify any participant found violating the terms, rules, or ethical standards of the competition.
